👋 What is GoodMarg.in?
Good Margin came form the idea of answering the regular question we are getting from friends, colleagues or other fashion industry stakeholders about margins and how they are calculated. We then decided to package it all nicely in a neat little tool.
🧮 How do we calculate margins?
We are following a basic logic of considering the margin is the difference between the money taken in after taxes and the cost of the goods once landed in your warehouse. So basically something like this:
📊 Default Values
The app comes with the default values for the VAT (25%), the markup between wholesale and retail (x2.5) and the freight rates (5%).
The exchange rates are refreshed daily 😋
